Reflectors

Subregulation 1
Every goods vehicle and every trailer shall be fitted at the rear of the vehicle with 2 red reflectors each of at least 40 millimetres in diameter.

Notwithstanding paragraph (1), every goods vehicle and every trailer registered on or after 15th February 2006 shall be fitted at the rear of the vehicle or the trailer, as the case may be, with 2 red reflectors, each having a light emitting surface of at least 25 square centimetres.
Subregulation 2
One of the reflectors shall be fitted on the off-side of the vehicle and the other one the near-side.
Subregulation 3
The reflectors shall be so fitted as to reflect the light from the front lamps of an overtaking vehicle.
