Regulation 4

Exemption after presidential election

Subject to the conditions in paragraph 6, the written laws set out in the Schedule shall not apply to or in relation to the use of any goods vehicle on any road in connection with a public procession that is held —

(a)

during the post-election period of a presidential election;

(b)

for the purpose of showing appreciation to voters or celebrating any victory at the presidential election;

(c)

by or with the authorisation of any candidate at that presidential election; and

(d)

in accordance with a permit.
