Competency and testing records
Subregulation 1
An AOC holder must maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records (called in this regulation a competency and testing record) of all competency assessments and testing for every person who may be assigned duty as a crew member on a relevant aircraft.
Subregulation 2
For each person that an AOC holder maintain a competency and testing record in accordance with paragraph (1), the record must contain the following details:
the date that the competency test or assessment was carried out;
the details of the test or assessment, including the result;
the name and qualifications of the examiner responsible for carrying out the test or assessment;
the date and particulars of any decision to require the person —
to undertake further training;
to retake a test or assessment; or
to cease acting as a crew member until such training, testing or assessment has been completed;
the date that a person was last assigned duty in the crew member role for which the test or assessment is necessary;
a statement that the AOC holder is satisfied that a person is competent to perform the person’s assigned crew member duties.
Subregulation 3
An AOC holder must retain the competency and testing records of every person who may be assigned duty as a flight crew member or a cabin crew member on a relevant aircraft for the period specified in the Sixth Schedule to the Air Navigation (91 — General Operating Rules) Regulations 2018.
