Regulation 22
Operational control
Subregulation 1
An AOC holder must establish and maintain a system of operational control.
Subregulation 2
An AOC holder must describe the system in its Operations Manual.
Subregulation 3
An AOC holder must exercise operational control over every flight of a relevant aircraft and ensure that operational control is only delegated to —
a flight dispatcher;
the pilot-in-command; or
a designated member of its operations personnel that is accepted by the Director‑General of Civil Aviation.
Subregulation 4
Regulation 22 of the Air Navigation (91 — General Operating Rules) Regulations 2018 does not apply to any flight of a relevant aircraft unless operational control for the flight is delegated to the pilot-in-command pursuant to paragraph (3)(b).
