Approval of appointment

The Commission shall not appoint any person as an Authorised Verifier under regulation 23 unless the applicant satisfies the Commission that the applicant meets the requirements for appointment specified in regulation 20.
Subregulation 2

The Commission shall not decline an application for appointment without first —
(a)
informing the applicant of any information on which the Commission relies in proposing to decline the application; and
(b)
giving the applicant a reasonable opportunity to make written submissions to the Commission in relation to that information.
