Dismantling weighing or measuring instrument for inspection and testing
Subregulation 1
An Authorised Verifier or inspector may require a person who presents a weighing or measuring instrument for inspection and testing to dismantle the instrument sufficiently to enable all its working parts to be inspected and tested.
Subregulation 2
If any such requirement is not complied with, the Authorised Verifier or inspector may —
(a)
refuse to inspect or test the instrument; or
(b)
with the consent of the person presenting the instrument, dismantle the instrument.
