Modification of section 59(6) of Act
Section 59(6) of the Act is, in its application to the Singapore National Co‑operative Federation Limited, modified to the extent that —
all or any of the duties of the secretary or treasurer, or both, may be delegated under section 59(6)(a) of the Act to an individual who is appointed as a chief executive officer of the Singapore National Co‑operative Federation Limited, whether or not that individual’s appointment is on a full time basis; and
where all the duties of the secretary or treasurer, or both, are delegated to a chief executive officer, whether or not appointed on a full time basis, the Singapore National Co‑operative Federation Limited may under section 59(6)(b) of the Act operate without electing a secretary or a treasurer, or both.
