Requisition for official searches
Subregulation 1
Every requisition for an official search of any instrument registered or enrolled under the Act or under any written law in force prior to 30th November 1988 shall be signed by or on behalf of the person requiring the search to be made.
Subregulation 2
The Registrar shall cause a certificate of the result of the search signed by him and sealed with the seal of the Registry to be given to the person requiring the certificate.
Subregulation 3
A duplicate of the certificate referred to in paragraph (2) shall be maintained in the record of official searches in the form of a microfilm or in a file.
