Service of notice of sale
Subregulation 1
Every notice of sale required by section 43(4) of the Act to be served by any Town Council on the owner of a flat shall be deemed to be sufficiently served if the notice is —
delivered to the owner or at the flat to some adult member or employee of his family;
sent to the owner by registered post to his flat or to his usual or last known place of abode or business; or
affixed to some conspicuous part of his flat.
Subregulation 2
Any notice of sale sent by registered post to any owner in accordance with paragraph (1)(b) shall be deemed to be duly served on him at the time when the letter would in the ordinary course of post be delivered and in proving service of the same it shall be sufficient to prove that the envelope containing the notice was properly addressed, stamped and posted by registered post.
