Regulation 2

Any offence for a breach of or default in complying with any of the by‑laws under the Town Councils (Model By‑laws) Rules 2026 (G.N. No. S 327/2026), or for being knowingly a party to the breach or default, punishable under section 28(9) of the Act, is prescribed as a compoundable offence that may be compounded in accordance with section 72(1) of the Act.
