Compoundable offences

The following offences may be compounded by the Board in accordance with section 70 of the Act:

(a)

any offence (other than a continuing offence) under section 10(5), 11(4)(a) or (b) punishable under subsection (4)(c), 13A(1), 14(4), 16(5), 16A(5)(a), 17(4), 18(1), 19(2), 20(1)(a) or (b) punishable under subsection (1)(c), 20(2)(a) punishable under subsection (2)(d), 22A(6), 22B(5), 24(4)(a) (in relation to a contravention of subsection (1)(a) or (1A)) punishable under subsection (4)(c), 24A(2), 26(5)(a) (in relation to a contravention of subsection (1A)) punishable under subsection (5)(d), 31(5), 33(7D) or (8B), 34(2), 35(2), 36(6), 38(3), 41(1)(a), 46 or 63(b) of the Act;

(b)

any of the following offences (other than a continuing offence) of the Sewerage and Drainage (Sanitary Works and Sewerage Works) Regulations (Rg 2):

(i)

regulation 8(1) in relation to a contravention of regulation 4A, 5(1) or (3), 6(1), (3) or (5) or 7(1);

(ii)

regulation 8(2) in relation to a contravention of regulation 3(1) or (2) or 4(1);

(c)

any offence under regulation 4, read with regulation 6, of the Sewerage and Drainage (Surface Water Drainage) Regulations (Rg 4); (d)any offence (other than a continuing offence) under regulation 14 of the Sewerage and Drainage (Trade Effluent) Regulations (Rg 5);

(e)

any offence (other than a continuing offence) under regulation 4(2), 6(4), 9(3) or (5), 11(3), 12(2) or 14(4) of the Sewerage and Drainage (Protection of Public Sewerage System) Regulations 2017 (G.N. No. S 338/2017).
