Regulation 11A
Excluded documents under section 28(4) of Act
For the purposes of section 28(4) of the Act, the following documents filed or lodged with, or obtained by, the Registrar on or after 9 December 2024, are excluded documents to which section 28(1) of the Act does not apply:
a document (other than a form mentioned in regulation 11B) that contains any of the following information about an individual:
the individual’s date of birth;
the individual’s residential address;
the individual’s email address;
the individual’s mobile telephone number;
where an application is lodged to reserve a name as a person’s proposed registered business name under section 16(1) of the Act — any other document lodged in respect of the application;
where a person has applied to the Registrar to give a direction to any other person to change that other person’s registered business name under section 17(6) of the Act — any other document lodged by the person and that other person in respect of the application;
where an application to change a person’s registered business name is lodged under section 18(1) of the Act — any other document lodged in respect of the application;
where a notice mentioned in section 21(1)(a), (b) or (c) of the Act is lodged on behalf or in respect of a deceased person or deceased partner — any other document lodged in respect of the notice.
