What is a registrable personal mobility device

A personal mobility device is a registrable personal mobility device if the device —
(a)
has an electric motor attached to the device; (b)has handlebars; and
(c)
is not a motorised luggage.
Subregulation 2
To avoid doubt, a personal mobility device that meets the description in sub‑paragraph (1) is registrable whether or not it has any seat.

In this paragraph, “motorised luggage” means a suitcase that —
(a)
has one or more wheels;
(b)
is propelled by an electric motor attached to or integrated into the suitcase; and
(c)
is built to transport —
(i)
a rider; and
(ii)
an individual’s luggage within the suitcase.
