Codes of practice
Subregulation 1
For the purpose of section 48(1), read with section 48(3), of the Act, codes of practice may be issued by the Competent Authority to apply to —
the following digital advertising intermediaries:
Google, in respect of Google Ads;
Meta Platforms, Inc., in respect of Audience Network; and
the following internet intermediaries:
Google LLC, in respect of —
Google Search; and
YouTube;
Meta Platforms, Inc., in respect of —
Facebook; and
Instagram;
X Corp., in respect of X;
SPH Media Limited, in respect of HardwareZone.com;
WeChat International Pte Ltd., in respect of WeChat;
Baidu, Inc., in respect of Baidu;
TikTok Pte. Ltd.; (viii)LinkedIn Corporation.
Subregulation 2
For the purposes of section 48(2), read with section 48(3), of the Act, codes of practice may be issued by the Competent Authority to apply to the following internet intermediaries:
Google LLC, in respect of —
Google Search; and
YouTube;
Meta Platforms, Inc., in respect of —
Facebook; and
Instagram;
X Corp., in respect of X;
SPH Media Limited, in respect of HardwareZone.com;
WeChat International Pte Ltd., in respect of WeChat;
Baidu, Inc., in respect of Baidu;
TikTok Pte. Ltd.; (h)LinkedIn Corporation.
