Regulation 32B
Instructions for self-collection of specimens

Where any specimen is to be collected from a patient by the patient himself or herself, for the purpose of conducting any test on it (whether or not the test is to be self-administered by the patient), a radiological service licensee must provide the patient with —
(a)
instructions on how and when the specimen is to be collected; and
(b)
the precautions that are to be taken to avoid contamination and degradation of the specimen.
