Regulation 32
Assessment of patients above 45 years of age
A licensee must establish and implement processes to ensure that —
(a)
a qualified assisted reproduction practitioner who is the licensee’s personnel assesses the fitness of each patient to carry a pregnancy, deliver and care for the child if the patient is or likely to be above 45 years of age at the start of the pregnancy; and
(b)
appropriate clinical management and medical advice is given to a patient mentioned in paragraph (a) in the provision of the assisted reproduction service.
