Regulation 59
Tests on persons must be conducted by licensed persons or accredited laboratories
Where a licensee requires a person to undergo any test (other than a simple in vitro diagnostic test) in the course of the licensee’s provision of the assisted reproduction service, the licensee must —
ensure that the test is conducted by —
a person who holds a licence under the Act authorising the person to provide a clinical laboratory service; or
a person who operates a clinical laboratory outside Singapore that is accredited by an accreditation body approved by the Director‑General; and
retain a copy of any clinical laboratory report issued by the person mentioned in paragraph (a)(i) or (ii) for the test.
