Forfeiture of Certificate and Medal

Subregulation 1

The Minister may forfeit a Certificate awarded to a group if the Minister considers that the group should not have been awarded the Certificate.

The Minister may forfeit a Medal awarded to an individual if —

(a)

the individual is convicted by a court in Singapore of any criminal offence;

(b)

the individual is guilty of misconduct or disloyalty to Singapore;

(c)

the individual, being a public officer, is dismissed from the public service; or

(d)

the Minister considers that the individual should not have been awarded the Medal.

The Minister may restore a forfeited Certificate or Medal.
