Regulation 17
Investigators access to flight recorders, etc.
Subregulation 1
Without affecting section 27 of the Act, an investigator is entitled to immediate and unrestricted access to and use of the contents of the flight recorders, air traffic service records and any other recordings that may complement the investigation.
Subregulation 2
In this regulation, “flight recorder” means any type of recorder that is installed in an aircraft for the purpose of complementing investigations into an aircraft accident or an incident.
