Clause 16

Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Authority may carry on such activities as appear to the Authority to be advantageous, necessary or convenient for it to carry on for or in connection with the discharge of its duties and functions under this Act and, without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the Authority may exercise one or more of the powers specified in the Schedule.

The Authority may, in addition to the powers vested in it by subsection (1), exercise such other powers as the Minister may authorise the Authority in writing to exercise.

The Authority shall, when it is exercising powers authorised by the Minister under subsection (2), be deemed to be exercising powers vested in it by subsection (1).
