Regulation 28
Extension of time for submission of statement of affairs under section 141(3) of IRDA
Subregulation 1
The Official Receiver or the liquidator or the Court for special reasons may, upon the application of a person mentioned in section 141(2) of the IRDA, approve in writing or make an order granting (as the case may be) an extension of time for the person to submit a statement of affairs.
Subregulation 2
Where an extension of time is granted by the Official Receiver or the liquidator under paragraph (1), the applicant —
(a)
must file a copy of the approval in writing with the Court; and
(b)
is not required to apply to the Court for an extension of time to submit the statement of affairs.
