Clause 38
Section 126 of the Ordinance is hereby amended —
(a)
by inserting immediately after the word “domiciled” appearing in the fourth line of subsection (1) thereof the words “or resident”; and
(b)
by inserting immediately after the word “domiciled” appearing in the last line of subsection (2) thereof the words “or resident”; and
(c)
by deleting the expression “the Banishment Ordinance or the Banishment Ordinance, 1959, of the Federation” appearing at the end of subsection (3) thereof and substituting therefor the words “any written law for the time being in force in Singapore”; and
(d)
by deleting the marginal note “Cap. 127.” to subsection (3) thereof.
