Clause 24
(1)
Every employer must insure and maintain insurance under one or more approved policies with one or more designated insurers against all liabilities that the employer may incur under this Act in respect of every employee of the employer.
(2)
Subsection (1) —
(a)
does not apply in respect of the excluded classes of employees prescribed for the purposes of this paragraph; and
(b)
applies subject to any minimum prescribed amount for which an employer must be insured in respect of any of the employer’s liabilities under this Act.
