The first plaintiff (“ex-wife”) and the defendant (“ex-husband”) were married in 1981. They divorced in 2017. The ex-wife is also the personal representative of the estate of her late mother (“Mother”) (“Personal Representative”), in which capacity she is suing as the second plaintiff. In this judgment, any reference to the “ex-wife” ought to be understood as a reference to her in her own capacity unless otherwise specified. In this action (“Suit”), the plaintiffs seek to enforce an alleged oral agreement entered into between the ex-wife and the ex-husband. In turn, the ex-husband counterclaims against the ex-wife for damages resulting from her alleged breach of a court order.
