The present case is factually straightforward. It involves a claim by Mr Jonathan William Glassberg (“Mr Glassberg”) against the defendant bank, UBS AG, Singapore Branch (“UBS”), in respect of an investment recommendation made by Mr Glassberg’s relationship manager at UBS. The judge below (the “Judge”) dismissed Mr Glassberg’s claim in its entirety, principally on the basis of various contractual provisions that governed the relationship between the parties. Having perused the evidence and considered the parties’ submissions, we agree with the Judge that these provisions lead to the conclusion that Mr Glassberg’s case against UBS cannot succeed. We dismiss the present appeal in its entirety.
