Definitions
In this Order —“AIDEN delivery robot” means an autonomous motor vehicle that is known as the AIDEN delivery robot;“autonomous system” means a system that enables the operation of an AIDEN delivery robot without the active physical control of, or monitoring by, a human operator;“Delta Electronics” means the company known as Delta Electronics Int’l (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201016894N);“remote communications technology” means the technology used by an AIDEN delivery robot that enables simultaneous audio or audiovisual communications;“specified area” means the area bounded by the black‑coloured lines in the map set out in the Schedule;“specified footpath” means any footpath within the specified area;“permitted purpose” means either of the following purposes:
to transport any thing to a resident residing within the specified area;
to facilitate communication between any person and a resident residing within the specified area through the use of remote communications technology.
