Citation and commencement
This Order is the Active Mobility (Excluded Vehicle) Order 2018 and comes into operation on 28 August 2018.
Definition
In this Order, “e‑trishaw” means a three‑wheeled pedal cycle that —
is constructed or adapted for the carriage of passengers;
is equipped with an electric motor; and
may be propelled by human power or by the electric motor with which it is equipped, or by both.
Excluded vehicle
An e‑trishaw is excluded from the definition of “personal mobility device” or “PMD” in section 2(1) of the Act.
