cl 23Amendment of section 95

In the principal Act, in section 95, after subsection (2), insert —“(2A) An application to —

(a)

a Kadi or Naib Kadi for the solemnisation of a marriage under subsection (1)(b);

(b)

a Kadi for the solemnisation of a marriage under subsection (1)(c); or

(c)

a Kadi or Naib Kadi for the written consent of a Kadi or Naib Kadi (as the case may be) for the solemnisation of a marriage by a wali under subsection (2)(a),must be made in accordance with rules made under section 145.”.
