31. Variation to air operator certificate

An AOC holder must obtain the approval of the Authority before making any changes to —

the accountable manager;

any person employed or engaged by the AOC holder under regulation 12(3);

any of the locations specified in the AOC holder’s Operations Manual in accordance with regulation 21(3)(d); and

the scope of the air operator certificate.

An AOC holder must apply to the Authority for the approval required under paragraph (1) at least 30 working days before the effective date of the change.

The Authority may approve the AOC holder’s application under paragraph (2) subject to such conditions as the Authority considers appropriate. (4) Despite paragraphs (1), (2) and (3), if an AOC holder notifies the Authority of any change or intended change to —

the AOC holder’s name (including a business or trading name);

the AOC holder’s address; or

the AOC holder’s telephone or fax number, email or any other contact detail,the Authority may vary the AOC holder’s air operator certificate according to the notification.
