Prohibition against transportation by certain means
of Biological Agents and Toxins Act 2005

Section 13
(1)
A person must not transport or procure the transportation of any First Schedule biological agent within Singapore by mail or public transportation.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to be punished as follows:
(a)
where the biological agent is a First Schedule (Part 1) biological agent, with a fine not exceeding $10,000 or with imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or with both; and
(b)
where the biological agent is a First Schedule (Part 2) biological agent, with a fine not exceeding $100,000 or with imprisonment for a term not exceeding 10 years or with both.
