—(1) The Commissioner of Building Control must cancel an MEI audit notice issued in relation to a Type 1 building if he or she is satisfied, whether or not through further information provided, that the Type 1 building is not an energy-intensive building.(2) Without affecting subsection (1), the Commissioner of Building Control may cancel an MEI audit notice on any of the following grounds:(a)any prescribed ground;(b)the Commissioner of Building Control is satisfied that there is a good reason to do so.

s 22FKCancellation of MEI audit notice

(1)

The Commissioner of Building Control must cancel an MEI audit notice issued in relation to a Type 1 building if he or she is satisfied, whether or not through further information provided, that the Type 1 building is not an energy-intensive building.

(2)

Without affecting subsection (1), the Commissioner of Building Control may cancel an MEI audit notice on any of the following grounds:

(a)

any prescribed ground;

(b)

the Commissioner of Building Control is satisfied that there is a good reason to do so.
