reg 1Citation and commencement

This Order is the Building Control (Exempt Fixed Installations and Fixed Installation Works) Order 2025 and comes into operation on 1 October 2025.

reg 2Definition

In this Order, “specified fixed installation” means any fixed installation specified in the Schedule.

reg 3Exempt fixed installations

The Act and the building regulations do not apply to any specified fixed installation.

reg 4Exempt fixed installation works

The Act and the building regulations do not apply to any fixed installation works —

(a)

for the installation of a specified fixed installation; or (b)that are carried out in relation to a specified fixed installation.
