Pay slip
Subregulation 1
The pay slip mentioned in section 29Q(1)(b) of the Act for every citizen or permanent resident of Singapore who is employed or is to be employed by the person registered under Part 5B of the Act (called an employee) must contain particulars of the amount of the following payments received by the employee from the registered person:
the basic wage; (b)any overtime payment; (c)any sum by way of reimbursement to the employee for special expenses incurred during his or her employment;
any allowance however described; (e)any progressive wage model bonus (as defined in section 29M of the Act).
Subregulation 2
Subject to paragraph (3), the pay slip mentioned in section 29Q(1)(b) of the Act must be issued at the following frequency:
if the pay slip is a single pay slip relating solely to one salary period — at least once during the salary period; (b)if the pay slip is a consolidated pay slip relating to 2 or more salary periods, at least once a month.
Subregulation 3
Where an employee’s employment with a registered person ends, a pay slip that relates to all salary periods for which a pay slip was earlier not issued must then be issued once between —
the salary payment date relating to the last salary period preceding the end of employment; and
the employee’s last day of employment with the employer,both dates inclusive.
Subregulation 4
In this regulation, “salary period” means —
a period (not exceeding one month) fixed by the employer in respect of which salary earned by the employee is payable; or
if the employer does not fix a period under sub‑paragraph (a), a period of one month.
