Section 8

Any person on whom a notice under section 6(1) is served may, not later than the 21st day after the date of receipt of the notice, appeal in writing to the Minister against the notice in the prescribed manner.

Even though an appeal is lodged under subsection (1), the notice appealed against takes effect and must be complied with unless the Minister orders otherwise.

The Minister may determine an appeal under this section by confirming, varying or cancelling the notice of the Commissioner under section 6(1).

The Minister’s decision in any appeal under this section is final.
