These Regulations are the Bus Services Industry (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 23 September 2026.

reg 2Replacement of regulation 2

In the Bus Services Industry (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2016, replace regulation 2 with —“Compoundable offences

2. The following offences may be compounded by the LTA or any authorised officer in accordance with section 40(1) of the Act:

(a)

any offence (other than a continuing offence) under section 30(7), 34(3), 35(3), 36(3) or (4) or 42AA(6) of the Act;

(b)

any offence under regulation 4(3), 5(4), 6(2), 7(3), 8(2), 9(3), 10(2), 11(2), 12(2), 13(2), 15(3), 16(3), 17(3), 18(2) or 19(2) of the Bus Services Industry (Control of Conduct and Activities — Public Bus) Regulations 2026 (G.N. No. S 661/2026);

(c)

any offence under regulation 4(3), 5(3), 6(2), 7(2), 9(2), 10(2), 11(2), 13(3), 15(2), 16(3), 17(4), 18(2) or 19(2) of the Bus Services Industry (Control of Conduct and Activities — Bus Interchange) Regulations 2026 (G.N. No. S 662/2026).”.
