reg 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations are the Bus Services Industry (Savings and Transitional) Regulations 2016 and come into operation on 22 January 2016.

reg 2Public bus services contracts

(1)

Each contract specified in the Schedule (called in this regulation a specified contract) is deemed to be a public bus services contract for the purposes of the Act.

(2)

To avoid doubt, the Act does not prejudice any right under a specified contract that accrued before the date of commencement of the Act.
