18. Change of registered business name
Feedback & supportAn application by a person to change the person’s registered business name is to be lodged with the Registrar.
registered business name
“registered business name” means the business name in respect of which a person is registered under section 8;
Upon the approval of the application, the Registrar is to issue to the applicant a notice of change of registered business name stating the date of the change.
Registrar
“Registrar” means the Registrar of Business Names appointed under section 3(2) and includes any Deputy Registrar or Assistant Registrar of Business Names appointed under that section;
Any application for a change of a registered business name is subject to section 17.
