In the principal Regulations, in regulation 16 —(a)in the regulation heading, replace “of gaming table or gaming machine” with “or stoppage of table, gaming machine or gaming program”;(b)in paragraph (1), replace “of any gaming table or gaming machine” with “or stoppage of any table, gaming machine or gaming program”;(c)in paragraph (2), replace sub-paragraph (a) with —“(a)displaying a notice of the impending stoppage of a gaming machine or gaming program on the screen of the gaming machine or the electronic device (other than a gaming machine) on which the gaming program is used (as the case may be) for a reasonable period of time before the stoppage of the gaming machine or gaming program, as the case may be; or”; (d)replace paragraph (3) with —“(3) A casino operator may close or stop a table, gaming machine or gaming program without notice where it has reasonable cause to believe that the closure is necessary ––(a)in the interests of public or private safety;(b)to ensure that casino gambling is conducted honestly; or(c)to maintain, repair or otherwise deal immediately with any table, gaming machine, gaming program or other gaming equipment to ensure the security and integrity of casino gambling.”; and(e)in paragraph (4), replace “, in relation to a gaming table or a gaming machine” with “and “stoppage”, in relation to a table, gaming machine or gaming program”.

In the principal Regulations, in regulation 16 —

(a)

in the regulation heading, replace “of gaming table or gaming machine” with “or stoppage of table, gaming machine or gaming program”;

(b)

in paragraph (1), replace “of any gaming table or gaming machine” with “or stoppage of any table, gaming machine or gaming program”;

(c)

in paragraph (2), replace sub-paragraph (a) with —“(a)displaying a notice of the impending stoppage of a gaming machine or gaming program on the screen of the gaming machine or the electronic device (other than a gaming machine) on which the gaming program is used (as the case may be) for a reasonable period of time before the stoppage of the gaming machine or gaming program, as the case may be; or”; (d)replace paragraph (3) with —“(3) A casino operator may close or stop a table, gaming machine or gaming program without notice where it has reasonable cause to believe that the closure is necessary ––
