Casino Control (Maximum Number of Gaming Machines and Gaming Programs) Order 2026

This Order is the Casino Control (Maximum Number of Gaming Machines and Gaming Programs) Order 2026 and comes into operation on 21 September 2026.

The total number of gaming machines and gaming programs available for casino gambling must not exceed —

for the casino operated by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. — 3,000; and

for the casino operated by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. — 2,900.

For the purposes of paragraph (1) —

each player terminal through which a bet may be placed on an electronic table game is considered one gaming machine; and

each software application installed on an electronic device and through which a casino game may be played is considered one gaming program, even if the software application is capable of being used to play more than one type of casino game.

The total number of gaming machines and gaming programs available for casino gambling must not exceed —

for the casino operated by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. — 3,000; and

for the casino operated by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. — 2,900.

For the purposes of paragraph (1) —

each player terminal through which a bet may be placed on an electronic table game is considered one gaming machine; and

each software application installed on an electronic device and through which a casino game may be played is considered one gaming program, even if the software application is capable of being used to play more than one type of casino game.
