Control and management of juvenile rehabilitation centres and places of safety established under section 90

(1)
Juvenile rehabilitation centres and places of safety established by the Minister under section 90 are under the control and management of —
(a)
the Director‑General; or
(b)
a governing board consisting of such persons as may be appointed by the Minister.

(2)
In controlling and managing any juvenile rehabilitation centre or place of safety established under section 90, the Director‑General or a governing board appointed under subsection (1)(b) has the powers, functions and duties conferred or imposed on the person‑in‑charge of a juvenile rehabilitation centre or place of safety by this Act.[65
