Amendment of section 30

Section 30 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “16 years” in subsection (1) and substituting the words “18 years”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the words “unnecessary delay” in subsection (2), the words “and within 48 hours after the person is arrested”.
