Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Children and Young Persons (Transitional Provision) Regulations 2011 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 20th July 2011.

Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Children and Young Persons (Transitional Provision) Regulations 2011 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 20th July 2011.
Transitional provision
Notwithstanding section 52A of the Children and Young Persons Act (Cap. 38), a person who was operating a home for children and young persons before 20th July 2011 may continue to operate that home without a licence, as if the Children and Young Persons (Amendment) Act 2011 had not been enacted, until 31st December 2012, provided that the operator of the home has applied for a licence under section 52B of the Children and Young Persons Act on or before 20th July 2012.
