Regulation 11
Payment of AL collections to Authority
Subregulation 1
An AL collection agent must, within a period of 2 weeks after a return is given to the Authority under paragraph 10(1) in relation to an accounting period, pay to the Authority —
the total amount of AL stated in the return as collected during that accounting period; and
the total amount of interest stated in the return as collected during that accounting period.
Subregulation 2
Where any of the AL that an AL collection agent is liable under sub‑paragraph (1) to pay to the Authority remains unpaid after the time by which the AL is due according to that sub‑paragraph to be paid, the AL collection agent is liable to pay to the Authority interest on the amount unpaid.
Subregulation 3
Interest under this paragraph accrues daily at the rate of 4.5%-point above the 3-month compounded SORA for the period —
starting the first day the AL or part of it is in arrears; and
ending the day that the AL in arrears is paid in full to the Authority.
