SECOND SCHEDULEParagraph 5Amount of SAF levyAmount of SAF levy payable for a chargeable flight1.—

(1)

The SAF levy payable in respect of all chargeable passengers on a Type 1 chargeable flight is the amount computed — in accordance with the formula A × B × (ECP + 4 × PCP), where —

(a)

A is the amount set out in the second column of the following table corresponding to the geographical band of the flight’s immediate destination: Geographical bandA (i)I1 (ii)II2.80 (iii)III6.40 (iv)IV10.40; (b)B is —

(i)

if the chargeable flight begins at any time between 1 January 2027 and 31 March 2027 (both dates inclusive) — 0.7; and

(ii)

in any other case — 1;

(c)

ECP is the number of chargeable passengers in the economy cabin of the flight; and

(d)

PCP is the number of chargeable passengers in the premium cabin of the flight.
