9. Composition of offences
Feedback & supportThe Director-General may compound any offence under this Act which is prescribed as a compoundable offence by collecting from a person reasonably suspected of having committed the offence a sum of money not exceeding $2,000.

“Director‑General” means the Director‑General of Education, and includes such officers of the Ministry of Education as may from time to time be authorised to exercise the functions of the Director‑General of Education under section 5(1) of the Education Act 1957;
