Citation and commencement
This Notification is the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) (Amendment No. 4) Notification 2026 and comes into operation on 1 July 2026.
Amendment of Sixth Schedule
In the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) Notification 2025 (G.N. No. S 415/2025) (called in this Notification the principal Notification), in the Sixth Schedule —
under the heading “Departments”, delete item 11;
under the heading “Subjects”, delete items 10, 15 and 16; and
under the heading “Subjects”, in item 12(1), after “Private Education Act 2009”, insert “(but not matters under the Twelfth Schedule)”.
Amendment of Eleventh Schedule
In the principal Notification, in the Eleventh Schedule, under the heading “Subjects”, in item 1(8), replace “, 8B, 8C and 10A” with “and 8B”.
Amendment of Twelfth Schedule
In the principal Notification, in the Twelfth Schedule —
under the heading “Departments”, replace item 5 with —“5.Skills and Workforce Development Agency”; and
under the heading “Subjects”, replace item 3 with —“3.Career, Employment and Training Matters and Funds(1)Workforce Planning and Job Redesign(2)Employment Facilitation and Career Development(3)Training, Skills Development and Education for Adult Learners(4)Promoting Lifelong Learning(5)Employment Agencies Act 1958(6)Lifelong Learning Endowment Fund Act 2001(7)Private Education Act 2009 (only matters that relate to private education institutions for adult learners and do not relate to decisions under section 10(1)(h), 12 or 13, permission under section 16(3) or the making of subsidiary legislation)(8)Skills and Workforce Development Agency Act 2026(9)Skills Development Levy Act 1979”.
Amendment of Thirteenth Schedule
In the principal Notification, in the Thirteenth Schedule —
under the heading “Departments”, after item 12, insert —“13.Veterinary Council”;
under the heading “Subjects”, in item 1, after paragraph (5), insert —“(5A)Veterinary Practice Act 2026”; and
under the heading “Subjects”, in item 2(8), replace “, 8B, 8C and 10A” with “and 8B”.
Amendment of Fourteenth Schedule
In the principal Notification, in the Fourteenth Schedule, under the heading “Subjects”, in item 9, delete paragraph (5).
Amendment of Fifteenth Schedule
In the principal Notification, in the Fifteenth Schedule, under the heading “Subjects” —
in item 1, delete paragraph (3);
in item 5, replace “Managing Water Resources” with “Water Resources Management and Coastal Protection”; and
in item 5, replace paragraph (5) with —“(5)Sewerage, Drainage and Coastal Protection Act 1999”.
