This Notification is the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) (Amendment No. 7) Notification 2026 and comes into operation on 1 October 2026.
Amendment of First Schedule
In the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) Notification 2025 (G.N. No. S 415/2025), in the First Schedule —
in item 2, in the first column, replace “Minister for Trade and Industry (Trade)” with “Minister for Energy, Trade and Industry (Trade)”; (b)in item 2, in the second column, in paragraph 2, replace sub‑paragraph (d) with —“(d)Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry”;
in item 13, in the first column, replace “Minister for Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry)” with “Minister for Energy, Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry)”; and
in item 13, in the second column, replace “Trade and Industry” with “Energy, Trade and Industry”.
Amendment of Sixteenth Schedule
In the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) Notification 2025, in the Sixteenth Schedule —
replace the Schedule heading with — “ENERGY, TRADE AND INDUSTRY”; and
under the heading “Departments”, replace item 9 with —“9. Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry”.
