57. Covenant to extend to executors, etc.
Feedback & supportA covenant relating to freehold land shall be deemed to be made with the covenantee, his heirs and assigns, and shall have effect as if heirs and assigns were expressed.

“land” includes land freehold and leasehold, or of whatever tenure, and tenements and hereditaments, corporeal or incorporeal, and houses and other buildings, and also an undivided share in land; In relation to land;
A covenant relating to leasehold land shall be deemed to be made with the covenantee, his executors, administrators and assigns, and shall have effect as if executors, administrators and assigns were expressed.
This section shall apply only to covenants made on or after 1 August 1886.
