Regulation 49
Summary rejection in certain cases
Subregulation 1
IPOS may reject any representations without considering their merits if —
(a)
the representations were not made in accordance with this Division;
(b)
the representor did not comply with any directions under regulation 48; or
(c)
IPOS considers the representations to be frivolous or vexatious.
Subregulation 2
If IPOS rejects any representations under paragraph (1), IPOS must give written notice to the representor of —
(a)
the rejection; and
(b)
the provision in paragraph (1) under which the representations were rejected.
