Regulation 68
Submission of documents to IPOS
Subregulation 1
For the purposes of these Regulations, a document may be submitted to IPOS only by the following means:
by delivering it to an officer of IPOS at the address specified for this purpose on IPOS’s website;
by sending it by ordinary post or prepaid registered post to the address specified for this purpose on IPOS’s website;
by sending it by email to the email address specified for this purpose on IPOS’s website;
by any other means that IPOS may allow in a particular case.
Subregulation 2
For the purposes of these Regulations —
a document delivered in accordance with paragraph (1)(a) is deemed to have been submitted to IPOS on the day of delivery;
a document sent by ordinary post in accordance with paragraph (1)(b) is deemed to have been submitted to IPOS on the day after it would in the ordinary course of post be delivered, unless it is returned undelivered;
a document sent by registered post in accordance with paragraph (1)(b) is deemed to have been submitted to IPOS 2 days after the day it was posted, whether or not it is returned undelivered; and
a document sent by email in accordance with paragraph (1)(c) is deemed to have been submitted to IPOS at the time the email becomes capable of being retrieved.
